ECDIS and Radar

Target group: Navigators, who need to be familiarised with operation of the FURUNO ECDIS and radar in an INS bridge.

Duration: 3 days

Fee includes: Training materials, training using simulator, lunch and refreshments during the training course.

Description: The training aims to familiarise the trainees with the FURUNO ECDIS and radar user-interface and equipment operation. The training utilises a complete FURUNO navigation system and a full mission simulator to allow the trainees to operate the equipment under various conditions in virtual reality environment. The training course enables the navigator to handle the FURUNO navigation equipment onboard vessel in a safe and efficient manner.
