Target group: Bridge and engine officers responsible for the safe operation of the vessel.

Description: The training provides useful tools for the officers to manage the crew and to ensure optimal working conditions for the same. This training course enables an effective cooperation between the bridge and the engine room. The training course includes general management training with adjustments for the conditions onboard a ship at sea.

Some of the topics: Communication, leadership, bridge organisation, engine room organisation, voyage planning, voyage preparations, error chain, error analysis, situation awareness, stress and fatigue, emergency situations, Master/OOW and pilot relationship, Master /OOW and Chief Engineer relationship, ship's crew as a team.

The training is concluded with a diploma.

The training complies with the IMO STCW-95 code, Sect. B-VIII/2, part 3-1 and STCW-95, code A-II/1.
