Grand opening Ceremony of FURUNO Hellas, S.A., in Greece on 29th September 2009
FURUNO ELECTRIC CO., LTD. (FURUNO) is pleased to announce that its Greek subsidiary, FURUNO HELLAS S.A. is now ready for take-off.
The grand opening ceremony was conducted in Athens, Greece on the 29th of September 2009, and approximately 200 guests from shipping companies, FURUNO dealers, embassy of Japan, banking sector as well as journalists met with the top management of FURUNO Japan and its group companies throughout Europe, promising FURUNO's continuous amicable and professional relations.
As everybody knows, Greece is one of the most predominant maritime nations where a great number of shipping companies (ship owners and management) form a large shipping community. In the country of such importance, FURUNO has started to deliver, now directly to the Greek customers, the products as well as after sales service and technical support. This, FURUNO believes, would ultimately lead to raising the customer satisfaction much more and in depth.
